What do you do with all those scraps?

These are leftovers from a few projects or remnants I bought when JoAnns had their super sale before closing two stores and opening one Super Store here. Scraps make GREAT custom burp rags/cloths. The top two are made with cotton prints and chenille remnants.  The bottom is that super soft polyester that has become popular for baby blankets topped with a large leftover piece from Emma's curtains. It will make a nice blanket to lay on the floor or a nice place to change diapers on. These don't have a pattern. Just cut pin and sew!

Car Seat Canopy

The next few days I'll be posting projects that arose out of my nesting stage with our last baby. I will try to post directions as available. I used this free template. This was a simple project if you're looking for a baby shower gift. We are currently using a cover borrowed from a friend that won't blow off of the baby in a wind gust. This cover will come in handy when it gets a tad warmer. You can use thicker or thinner fabrics depending on the weather. This is GREAT for keeping strangers from peering at your baby or getting too close. If they can't see them they are less likely to touch them.

Working on a layout

Still working on a layout/design for the page so things may be slow here for awhile...which is fine since no one yet knows the page exists!
